WHO am I?
I am Terrence Walsh, a cyclist in NYC. Currently 22 years young, a senior at Fordham University, and an avid fan of communities.
WHAT am I blogging about?
People, the city, and one of my favorite modes of transportation.
WHERE can I be found?
Usually you can find me in the Bronx - either at class, in the library, roaming the streets by foot (daytime or night), and most certainly skerrping from borough to borough meeting cyclists and citidiots like you and me.
WHEN will i get a real job?
That's not the actual "when" question you're probably interested in...but, uh,...yeah.
WHY....write this blog?
This is the W I'm most interested in, and I think it deserves a few responses:
1. I love interacting with other people. This blog gives me an opportunity and reason (not that you need one or both) to stop and chat with some of those people - while also opening a window for city-dwelling interwebbers to peep the experience. Perhaps facilitating more community along the way :)
2. I want to create content that in praise of bicycling and bicyclists from all over the city, though i think it's impossible to say enough...From my POV, its benefits are numerous and diverse, ranging from: its usefulness and efficiency as an alternative to combustion-engine transportation, to bicycling as a facilitator of community interaction, and bicycling as a reservoir of gainful employment that any city could capitalize on...pun intended.
This blog is here to bring order to some cycling thoughts that arise.
